Arshad Miyan
Arshad Miyan had come to Bangalore for the first time. And as is my habit, I had gone to station to receive him, and as is my qismat, I had reached late - so that all I found on the platform was an empty train. In those days there were no mobiles. So I came back - and anyway Arshad Miayn had my address, so reached my place.
After regular Hi's and Hello's, he said "Arre yaar yahan ke quli bade badmaash hain. Batao, that guy was not agreeing to the 20/- I was giving him. Hadd hai ... uff .. "

Me: But Miyan, isi liye it is always better to negotiate and decide before hand. Pahle se decide kar lena achcha rahta hai ...

Miyan: Arre, pahle se decide karte to itna bada saaman laane ko 20/- mein koi tayyar hi nahi hota
